Affiliate Marketing – You can earn money by simply promoting the products and/or services of another company through your website. If you have a blog you can also promote the product/service in your blog. There are different ways payment schemes for different affiliate programs. You might be familiar with PPC (Pay per click) programs, which pay you for every visitor that you send to their website, there are programs that only pay you when a sale is made (pays commission), and there are affiliate programs that combine the two schemes. Make sure that if you decide to join an affiliate program the product/service they offer will appeal to your site’s visitors so that you can earn a substantial profit. Make sure too that the program has a good reputation for fast payouts so that you can be sure to get what you earn.

Freelance services – If you are trained or have a specific skill that you know is in demand then offer your services online. Services that are in demand include programming, copywriting, website design (including graphics design), SEO and transcription. You can find lots of job listings on freelance websites such as Freelance Jobs, Freelance Switch, Go Freelance, and All Freelance. The only problem with this is that with the steep competition many people sell their services quite cheaply. Make sure you offer a competitive price but do not sell yourself short. If you do quality work in the end your clients will keep on coming back even if you have a higher price and will even refer other clients to you.
